Madhuri Dixit Wedding

The Madhuri Dixit wedding was anything but ordinary for the superstar. Although she has experienced fame in a big way, she didn’t feel she was exempt from tradition. Despite her fame she conformed to the idea of arranged marriage that her people have learned to appreciate. This probably brought her even more respect in her community. As you may already know she is a Hindu superstar. She wed Dr. Sriram Nene, a UCLA cardio vascular surgeon who she met through her brother. The two were happily married in the United States on Laguna Beach, which is of the Southern California area.

Perhaps best known for her dancing and film roles, which is why years ago many would have said she was originally linked to a fellow actor. An actor by the name of Sanjay Dutt. The two met on the set of Saajan which was filmed in 1991. However many things contributed to the downfall of their relationship. Mainly because he wouldn’t file a divorce from his wife and he was arrested under TADA. After these events their relationship quickly began to die.

It may have been for the better though, seeing how her husband more accurately blends with traditions in her country. They even have the same Horoscopes. It was reported that her brother and her new husband were long time friends, and that her brother was the one who introduced them. It was at one of her brother’s dinner parties where Dr. Nene would finally pop the question to the bollywood star. Of course she said yes and their wedding was to be conducted traditionally. Vedic Rites even performed it is reported. One of the funniest parts of these two getting together is her husbands oblivious nature. It is said he didn’t even know she was a celebrity until they got married. And that he did not even see one of her movies, until she told him she was one of India’s top stars. And just like in all of her movies at her wedding the attention was focused on her the whole time. As you see her in her beautiful dress you notice that her smile could light up the room. This is of course the same smile which has brought her much of her fame.

Since the wedding it seems her life has gotten better and better. Just after a period of five years of marriage she decided it was time to go after her comeback movie. She did this with the film “Aaja Nachle” which actually earned her critical reviews. It seemed after all this time talent was not something she needed more of. She and her husband also have been busy raising their two children, Arin and Rayaan. The two boys although two years apart in age were born on the same month, March. The famed Indian superstar couldn’t be more satisfied with her life. Her work will be remembered for years to come, but the Madhuri Dixit wedding is probably her proudest accomplishment.
